Following AKA’s recent tweet concerning xenophobia, it appears that the South African rapper is yet to hear the last of it as Ice Prince and Sound Sultan have become the latest Nigerian celebrities to react to the series of tweets.

The South African rapper has been under intense criticisms from Nigerians following the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa and in a recent tweet, he wrote;

GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

Following this, Ice Prince took to his twitter page to advise the South African rapper to apologise to Nigerians to end the death threats he had been receiving since the latest xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

In the same vein, Sound Sultan also joined the list of Nigerian celebrities that have slammed AKA over what many claimed as a xenophobic tweet. He wrote;

I was about to unfollow AKA but i held myself back and said Lanre you were not following the mumu in the 1st place.

Similarly, one of Nigeria’s songbirds – Tiwa Savage – also took to her Twitter page to express her displeasure over the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa and further stated that she will no longer be performing at a festival scheduled to hold in Johannesburg, South Africa later this month.

She wrote;

I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA.

This is SICK.

For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September.

My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.
