Following the drama that unfolded yesterday about Wizkid and domestic violence, his Babymama has come out to state that her account was hacked.
The woman in question, Jada Pollock had allegedly released a statement on social media yesterday claiming that Wizkid beats her up and that she would no longer be associated with him.
In her alleged statement she was reported to have said: “From today, Ayo and I will no longer work together. I have been in an abusive relationship with him for years. Covering up for him time and time again and I am tired.
“Wiz continuously puts his hands on me, leaves me with bruises that I cover up from the world, including my friends and family.
“It often feels like we are at war in the same house. I have done all I can to keep this all together but from today, I let go.
“You can support someone as much as you can but at some point, you have to value yourself. I can’t raise my son in this kind of unhealthy environment,”
However, as it turns out, it seems this was all a lie and Pollock claimed that her account was hacked and she has only just recovered it.
In her new statement she apologized for any confusion that the post caused and assured people that she was not the one who made the statement yesterday.
This has been greeted with relief with many of the singers fans happy that he has been exonerated but also bemoaning the fact that he’s always vilified by people who just want to see him fall.
One commenter said: “Wizkid is that nigga everyone loves to hate. If he was accused of killing a mosquito, people would still vilify him. Cut that nigga some slack, biko!!!
“Now that the air has been cleared, employ thesame Energy in undragging him!”
Another said that those who vilified shouldn’t come back to claim to be fans anymore: “To those fake Wizkid FC members who cancelled Wiz yesterday, please just stay in your lane henceforth. If your loyalty is shaky during trying times then you’re absolutely not needed in this camp, period! ✌️”
It is unknown the people responsible for the hack, but it’s great news to learn that Wizkid is in the clear.
