On the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Lupita revealed her alter ego while challenging her inner Jay Z as she showcased her rap skills while sharing the reason she wrote a children’s book.
Lupita is not just an actress who tried politics at a time while up against her father for the same position, she is now recently an author which is why she is currently on a media tour to talk about her book, “Sulwe.”
She also has a feature film coming very soon, “Little Monsters” which she’s excited about.
She spoke at length about her book which she described as a Powerful and moving picture book on self-esteem, colourism and skin acceptance and the title, Sulwe, she revealed to be very dear to her heart.
She used the platform to reveal her TroubleMaker cat-eye sunglasses she labelled to be her Freestyle Rapping Cat Eye Wear as her alter ego.
Immediately some beats started playing, she jumped right in with some flows. It’s safe to say that she can add rapper to her long list of accomplishments. She also offered words of appreciation to Beyonce for acknowledging her beautiful skin with the mention of her name on one of the songs on “The Lion King; The Gift album,” called Brown Skin Girl.
Finally, she announced that the book will be out October 15th and her Hulu feature movie “Little Monsters” is also set for release on October 11th this year.
