Justin Bieber has played hundreds of concerts for millions of people, but it took him years to work up the courage to lead worship at his church … and he made it count!
The Canadian singer/songwriter hopped onto the church stage along with the worship band for the first time in years since he joined Churchome in Beverly Hills and to no one’s surprise, the singer sounded great as he poured his heart and soul into leading the congregation.
The pastor, Judah Smith, who is also Bieber’s buddy – gave some backstory on what led to the big moment stating that Bieber’s always been a worshiper, but the time had come for him to use his immense talent to guide everyone in praising God.
Explaining why he was nervous to lead worship session despite being an integral member of the church community for years, Justin Bieber said;
I’ve kind of not done this because I felt like — I didn’t want to make it seem like — I don’t know.
Judah, you know what I’m trying to say. I just didn’t want people to think, like, this was a show.
