We all know Waje. The singer who broke into the industry after lending her voice to the hook of P-Square’s 2007 hit single, “Do Me”, and then went on to become one of the most established female musicians in the country.

Sadly, the singer has announced her retirement in an emotional YouTube video, explaining how her talent has not brought much-deserved financial gain or acclaim.
She also went on to express her disappointment at the fact that she could not promote her last album, Red Velvet, due to lack of funds, as this caused a lukewarm reception for the album.
