Uti Nwachukwu Reveals Surprising Thing He Did With His BBA Prize Money

Uti Nwachukwu

As the current season of Big Brother Nigeria hurtles towards a thrilling finale, Uti Nwachukwu dropped a rather surprising titbit.

The actor and presenter was the winner of Big Brother Africa Season 5 and as the winner was privy to $200,000. According to him though, he claims he shared this money with his fellow housemates.

This came about when Uti tweeted that he wishes that the grand prize money could be shared amongst the current housemates which are: Diane, Frodd, Omashola, Mike and Mercy.

In his tweet, he said: Kai this is so hard. I wish we could share the #Bbnaija prize worth amongst the remaining hmates😞
E for sweet my belle
12M to Mercy
12M to Omashola
12M to Frodd
12M to Seyi and off course
12M to Mike.
Then the Ultimate winner will get the car.
It would have been super🙌🏾

There were a lot of reactions to this with many people in the replies pitching their favourite housemate and some throwing some subtle shade at Jaruma’s way.

However, the most interesting response came from a user who derisively commented that perhaps they should have shared his own prize money at the time too.

Without missing a bit, Uti Nwachukwu replied that he actually did share his money with the other finalists, giving them each $5000 out of his money.

“I actually shared my prize money. I gave 5k dollars each to 3 of the top5 housemates of my season. Ask them. #Bbnaija” he said. He even asked the person to verify if possible just to show he was telling the truth.

There has so far been no response from the Big Brother Africa account nor any official response to verify Uti’s claims, but he has no reason to lie does he? Perhaps we should take his word for it.
