Ultimate love is a new reality TV program set to premiere in February 2020 that will follow 8 couple who would be paired at the beginning of the show and will live together till only one couple is left.
This couple then wins a all expense paid traditional wedding and a furnished home.
I can hear you looking out for the similarities with Big Brother. Well, there are a few
- The couples would be required to live together
- The couples will be constantly monitored via CCTV
- There will be weekly tasks to stengthen or weaken the bonds of the couples
- There is a counselor they each get to interact with daily who is nicknamed ‘Auntie’
The couple format is an interesting twist as it takes one of the most engaging aspects of the big brother formula– the couples that form in the house– and make it into its own show.
The show is created and produced by Multichoice and auditions for parts in the show are already underway. According to reports, to participate, you need to log “on to www.africamagic.tv. Fill out the registration forms, upload a short introductory video of yourself and give your reasons to be a part of the show.”
Online auditions start today, 22nd of November and will run till the 30th of November.
Ultimate Love might be a Big Brother clone, however, every idea is a recycled idea and if it can bring quality entertainment to the Nigerian populace, then you are certain that this would be a hit.
