Toni Tones Confirms “King of Boys” TV Series Is In The Pipeline

Popular Nollywood actress, Toni Tones recently confirmed via her Twitter page that the movie “King of Boys” will have a prequel. Responding to a fan’s enquiry about a prequel or sequel, the actress stated that the movie’s prequel which will in the form of a TV series is already in the pipeline.

In her words;

A prequel has been commissioned and it’s a series. So you’re about to get a lot more than two hours of young Eniola.

Released in the later months of 2018, King of Boys in its opening weekend shattered several Nollywood records. Some of which include:

  • Biggest opening week for a non-comedy Nollywood film.
  • The second-highest opening week of a Nollywood film in 2018.
  • The second-highest opening by a female director.

King of Boys stars Sola Sobowale, Jide Kosoko, Toni Tones, Adesua Etomi, Reminisce, ill Bliss and several other notable Nollywood stars

King Of Boys is currently available on Netflix and Amazon Prime so make sure you catch up on it so that you can enjoy the prequel once it drops..
