Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift are both beautiful blonds, both are successful in their fields and both of them have someone in common: Joe Jonas.
The pair were an unlikely couple on BBC’s the Graham Norton show where they both shared the couch.
There was absolutely no trace of bad blood [see what i did there? ;)] between the two for the entire duration of the interview and it could even be said that the two got along quite well.
Taylor Swift famously put Joe Jonas on blast during an episode of the Ellen DeGeneres show alleging that the singer broke up with her in a 27 second phone call (yikes!) but she later apologized for that on another appearance on the daytime show.
“Probably when I, like, put Joe Jonas on blast on your show.” She continued, “That was too much, that was too much. I was 18, yeah. We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy, yeah, some teenage stuff there.”
Whatever ill feelings she might have had towards Joe certainly didn’t spill over to Sophie Turner as Swift was swift (Lol) to hug the Game of Thrones star when she came on set and they even had matching bags.
They were joined on the couch by Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy and the interview was all in good fun with Sophie Turner even answering questions about her wedding and commenting on how Diplo decided to stream the entire thing on his Instagram which made what one could argue should have been a private affair to become very, very public.
Taylor Swift, on her part, regaled her colleagues and by extension, the audience, with a story of how her Rolling Stone magazine interview somehow involved two accidents!
We’re glad that there is no beef between Swift and Jonas (nee Turner) and who knows, maybe this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
