See Pictures & Videos From DJ Cuppy’s Visit To Victims of Conflict In Borno State

DJ Cuppy

DJ Cuppy recently paid a visit to victims of conflict at the Save the Children Stabilization Centre in Maiduguri, Borno state.

Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, paid the visit to the victims in her capacity as an ambassador for Save The Children – a nonprofit that works to improve the lives of children through better education, health care, economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts.

Sharing pictures and videos of her visit on her Instagram page, the 26-year-old Nigerian DJ took out time during her visit to play with the less privileged kids and hold conversations with their parents and carers.

Speaking during her visit, DJ Cuppy said;

Visiting the Stabilization Centre (in Maiduguri) today, I have learnt that education is a key concern in the conflict in Nigeria.

The Humanitarian Needs Overview estimates that there were 2.2 million school-aged children and teachers in North Eastern Nigeria who need immediate education in emergency support.

Over 800 schools, primarily in Borno state, are still non-functional mainly due to inaccessibility as a result of insecurity. These children’s education cannot wait.

Around Nigeria, there are millions of ‘young DJ Cuppy’s’ who do not know their own strength and their ability to change the world because of where they are born.
