Izaak Theo, the son (formerly daughter) of singer Sade Adu has thrown plaudits his mother’s way for her support during his transition.
With Theo’s transformation more or less complete, the son of the legendary singer has thanked his mother, Sade Adu for all she’s done for him.
In an Instagram post in which the two of them are seen cozying up together in a booth at a diner, Theo captioned it: “It’s been a long hard road but We did it!! We are coming home!!!!
Thank you for staying by my side these past 6 months Mumma. Thank you for fighting with me to complete the man I am. Thank you for your encouragement when things are hard, for the love you give me. The purest heart. I love you so much. Queen of queens”
Sade Adu has always been supportive of her son’s transition from woman to man and Theo has always acknowledged this support, even talking about it in a post from the hospital where he chronicled the difficulty of the process and how his family had been there for him through it all.
“Through all this pain is the comfort that it’s not forever and I have the rest of my life ahead of me and I am so, SO DAMN EXCITED, I just have to remind myself to be patient sometimes as I’m sure we all do. Big up to my Mumma, Pappa, family and friends for all the support you give me on the daily, it’ll never be forgotten” the post read in part.
We’re happy that the two are so close and we wish them all the best.
