So, when Danaerys Targaryen said that she was going to take on Cersei Lannister with the greatest force the world had ever seen, we were all hyped for it.
At that time she had 3 dragons, the Dothraki, the Unsullied and the Northmen, it seemed like an overwhelming force, a force who’s power was seen in the battle of Goldroad (Where Dany and her forces ambushed Jaime Lannister and the Tarlys who had just looted Highgarden), so it seemed like a complete whitewash.
But here we are, the battle of Winterfell behind us and the forces of Dany essentially cut down by half.
Things got even worse when Rhaegal (one of the two surviving dragons) was killed by Euron Greyjoy when his fleet attacked Dany and Co.
So now, Danaerys Targaryen is left with One dragon (Drogon), half the Dothraki, Half the Unsullied, Northmen who aren’t truly loyal to her, a tired fighting force still recovering from the greatest war of all time (argue with your phones please) and internal strife rising from Jon’s revelation of his true roots.
(Also, Gendry was named a Lord, tried to woo Arya, asking her to marry him, but dude was curved… we shed a collective tear)
So, with that being said, what can we expect from the last 2 episodes?
Well, for one, I think Danaerys Targaryen’s mental state is fragile, and it’s looking more and more like she would become a tyrant bent solely on revenge. She lost her dragon and with the death of Missendei, she also lost her right hand person, right now she’s only seeing red. This will deepen the wedge between her and will probably turn them against each other.
Jon doesn’t want the throne, but that has never stopped him from assuming leadership positions (leader of the Wildlings, King of the North, Head of the Night’s Watch), so it’s possible that Jon might have to kill Danaerys Targaryen, because it is only with a united front that they can stand a chance against Cersei and her cohorts.
Also, CLEGANEBOWL!!! That will certainly happen in the next two episodes and i can’t wait.
I might very well be wrong, but with the facts we have on ground, that’s what I expect from the next 2 episodes.
