Nollywood is gradually becoming a force to reckon with.
The success they have recorded over time and with the introduction of cinemas has made the production of Nollywood movies even more interesting due to the high demands for quality pictures for cinema purpose. While you may think that should slow production down, it made it even more competitive as every producer is ensuring they meet up to standards so that people can watch their movies. In this month of August, there are lots of Nollywood movies in waiting and two got released yesterday, the 2nd of August. Talking about Nollywood movies in waiting, the producers of a certain Nollywood move have decided it is time to quench a bit of our taste on one of the most anticipated movies that was shot earlier this year, titled “KASANOVA,” with an official trailer of the movie. Are you thinking what I am thinking? If you’re, then yes ——– the movie is just as the title suggests!
It is a movie about a man who was torn about after the death of the only woman he has ever truly loved, from when they were just kids, she became his wife and mother of his children. Unable to handle the loss, he began to change women like clothes and started living the playboy life like he was still young but there was a turn around…did you ask how?? Because he met another woman!! Just when he thought he was done with LOVE as it died with his wife, he got struck again by LOVE and this time, the woman is his son’s music teacher…can we really control who we fall in love with? If you can, then it is amazing! But there was a problem because it conflicts with his son’s interest!
His son’s interest is what we have to what until the release of the movie to find out about. It will be out in cinemas across Nigeria from the 13th of September, 2019. This movie is ready to literally lit the fire up. It took the collaborative efforts of three scriptwriters, Tomi Adesina, Ugo Israel and Asurf Oluseyi to get the actual story in order. It was produced by Eddy Young while Faith Ojo is the executive producer and directed by Asurf Oluseyi. The choice of actors couldn’t have been any better.
