Nollywood Alive Top Ten Naija Song Of The Week – September 16th

Nigerian Music Artistes have are changing the narrative in the industry as new songs release happens on a weekly basis! From Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Davido and the list goes on.

Fast-rising artistes are not left out too and they learn quickly from their predecessors.

On the countdown this week, we have new song releases From Naira Marley, Krizbeatz and Zlatan.

1. 49-99 – TIWA SAVAGE

It is currently the number one trending song in Nigeria with over a million hit only 6days after its release.

The songstress, Tiwa Savage did really good on this one as she was able to make a representation of suffering and smiling as a means of survival in Nigeria. Co-written by Olamide.

2. PUTA (PXTA) – NAIRA MARLEY

Naira Marley has however stirred up another controversy with his new song. Though it has been well-received by his fans, the criticism on the song has gone through the roof as it’s been seen as promoting sexual violence on women.

3. BLOW MY MIND – DAVIDO X CHRIS BROWN

With the anticipation to his album release, Davido revealed that Adekunle Gold helped out with one of the songs on the album.

The buzz that has be been placed on the album, Blow My Mind stands strong on the countdown just the way its been since it dropped.

Davido did well on this one.

4. PAWON – OLAMIDE

Yet to catch the vibe on this song? It is only one download away.

The street pop singer who does his song in the Yoruba language has yet again given the street the kind of song they like and the streets caught the vibe.

5. HIT – KRISBEATZ X TEKNO X TENI

It is a follow-up song to his previously heard song, Aminah. He self-produced the song and the artistes chosen on this collaboration couldn’t have been better.

Cartel music boss, Tekno and Teni the overly spontaneous singer came through with amazing vocals and energy.

6. BABY – JOEBOY

This is the lyric his fans can’t get enough of. As a fast-rising artiste, the hit song set Joeboy on a good path.

7. COUNT ON YOU – JOHNNY DRILLE

The R&B singer did it again on this beautiful love song.

The Mavin Records artiste who has stuck with his style of music, recently got everyone talking about this love song that tells a beautiful story of two lovers featuring the newlyweds, Bam Bam and Teddy A.

8. BOLANLE – ZLATAN X IVD

Afrobeat banging tune produced by Phantom is the rave of the moment as Zlatan delivers his long-anticipated song which has been come to a hit after teasing his fans on social media for so long.

9. AGEGE – TEKNO X ZLATAN

This song is back on our countdown!

His first song from his self owned Cartel record label and it is doing so well. It is safe to say, Tekno still got it and his energy is amazing.

10. AUDIO MONEY – RUDEBOY

Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy is talking about social media and the fake life associated with it, in the song. It has a very serious lesson to take from it.

Although, it dropped from number 2 to number 10 this week, “Audio Money” has been projected to be a hit song as it was with “Reason With Me.”
