Nollywood Alive Top Ten Music Of The Week – November 25th

The countdown this week, we have a few inconsistent songs that will literally blow your mind and new music from the Nigerian music heavyweight, Davido.

1. SWEET IN THE MIDDLE – Davido X Wurld X Naira Marley X Zlatan

The super talented award-winning artiste has almost if not all the songs from his newly released album “A Good Time”, trending.

“Sweet In The Middle” is a collaborative work with fast-rising Nigerian artistes.

2. DON’T CALL ME BACK – Joeboy X Mayorkun

Produced by BYKO.

The melodic song is a continuation of his love story but this is quite deep.

The music video is out. It was directed by Prodigeezy.


Dr Dolor Entertainment headliner, Teni is out with the music video directed by TG OMORI, produced by PHEELZ.

The lyrics are relatable and the video is a comic one featuring the hilarious Broda Shaggi and the host of Who wants to be a millionaire, Frank Edoho.

4. MAFO – Naira Marley X Young John

The song was released on September 27th immediately after he released PXTA.

Mafo is now a hit song produced by YOUNG JOHN.

5. UP TO SOMETHING – Myorkun

“Up to Something” is an impressive song by the self-acclaimed Mayor Of Lagos produced by SPEROACH BEATZ.

Mayorkun dedicated the song to ladies who do so much to add to their natural look just to impress the guys. He later suggested they maintain the way was created.


The Ugandan rap artiste and producer has taken over East Africa after the release of his smashing self-produced hit single, weeks ago.

7. LADY – Rema

Mavin Records fast rising artiste, Rema is no doubt gradually becoming a force to reckon with in the league of new artistes.

Lady is off his Bad Commando EP made up of 4 tracks.

The music video is out and it was shot in London.

8. JORO – Wizkid

While we wait for his “Made In Lagos” album to be released, Wizkid serves us two amazing songs from the album.

The first is “Ghetto Love” and the second is “Joro” which has gotten more recognition over the first.

It is a mid-tempo yet danceable song.

9. TRY ME – Tems

“Try Me” is one of the most played songs on the radio.

For an alternative Nigerian song, it’s amazing to see how quickly it was accepted.

The song has an infusion of reggae.

10. ANYBODY – Burna Boy

Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy did great work with his “African Giant” album.

With his continuous global recognition, he has now been nominated for the Grammy Awards.

“Anybody” is an afro-fusion song from the African Giant album, track 2.
