The iREPRESENT International Documentary Film Festival is the only documentary genre-specific film festival in Nigeria. The festival has grown in popularity since its inception in 2011 and has been widely attended by filmmakers from different parts of the World.
This year, the 9th Edition was held in Lagos on the 21st -24th of March, 2019. It is the biggest on the West African Coast and this year’s theme is “STORYLINES” and was conceived on the traditional framework of Africa in Self Conversation. Over 30 carefully selected documentary films were screened at the two venues Freedom Park, Broad Street,Lagos and the Nigerian Film Corporation, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria.
