F.O.M.O is the name of a new Ndani TV web series coming to your various screens (laptop and phones inclusive) later this month.
The show follows Sukanmi, a young man trying to secure funding for his startup while also trying to find love and it also deals with themes of friendship, relationships and love.
Following the success of shows like Gidi Up and Skinny girls in Transit, Ndani TV has been growing steadily especially in the series space and it seems sure that this would be another success.
The show stars Tosin Ibitoye, Tobi Bakre of Big Brother Nigeria fame, Tomike Adeoye, Bukola Oladipupo, Asa’ah Samuel and Elma Mbadiwe.
F.O.M.O is an in-house Ndani TV production and is powered by GTBank. The company has always tried to create original Nigerian content that cater to the modern Nigerian and the social issues that we face. This might also be why they pulled the plug on on of their series, Oga Pastor which followed Deoye Gesinde, a young clergyman and founder of a fast growing Church, GGBC and his struggles with balancing the needs of his family, the needs of the Church and his own personal needs. However, three episodes in, it went off the air and was completely deleted from their site. It seems some of the parallels lined up with the rape scandal which Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA was embroiled in suggested as the major reason for this action.
Hopefully, F.O.M.O doesn’t suffer the same fate as it’s set to premiere on www.ndani.tv on Friday, September 20th, 2019.
