Former Beauty queen and MBGN contestant, Munachi Abii has worn a lot of hats, apart from being a beauty queen, she’s also a rapper, television presenter and songwriter.
She has now added another feather to that cap as she announced on Twitter that she would be going into movie directing.
She said on her Twitter account: “Super grateful for life and the grace to become all Iâve ever dreamt of. #directingfilm #spikeleeroy ??”

Munachi has appeared in a handful of movies and series and will now take the reins on a movie.
She was popular on the Port-Hacourt rap scene with a group called Specimen A, she also collaborated with Terry da Rapman.
Munachi has always been in love with the Silver screen though, revealing in an interview with the Punch that she would always prefer to be on set than at a desk job.
“The first time I acted was in a TV series directed by Imoh Umoren and it was titled, Indigo. Before then, I didnât even know that I could act. I loved the experience and I would rather be on set for 24 hours than work at a desk job.” she said
She also talked about the highlights of her life, “I have many careers; so, I have had lots of highlights. Growing up, I wanted to become an entertainer; I am happy that the dream has come true. Becoming a beauty queen was another highlight of my life. Being talked about in the media, discovering my gifts and finding out that I can paint are other highlights. Getting to work with people I only always saw on TV back then is yet another highlight of my life.”
Seeing as she’s been able to be successful at everything she’s put her hands to so far, we have no doubt that Munachi will totally kill it as a director.
