Miley Cyrus had a marriage that lasted all of 8 months after it was confirmed that she has split from actor Liam Hemsworth permanently.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have always had a bit of a Rocky relationship as they split a number of times while dating but it seemed love won when they got married late last year.

But that didn’t seem to be the case as Miley’s publicist confirmed the split in a statement.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.

“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy”

And it seems Miley Cyrus has found a way to move on after she was pictured making out with Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter during a girls’ getaway to Lake Como, Italy.

Miley had said in interviews that her marriage to Liam was a modern one and that she has never felt like she was in the stereotypical wife role and that she is still attracted to girls.

“My relationship is unique. And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it,” she said.

“I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a f…ing apron cooking dinner? I’m in a hetero(sexual) relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women.

“I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role,” she quipped, adding, “I don’t even like that word.” she added.

Miley and Liam met in 2009 while filming the last song, they were initially engaged 3 years later before calling it off and then getting back together in 2016 and finally getting married in 2018.
