Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are moving to Africa soon. Do you think they would move to Nigeria?

Well, while it’s unlikely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will move to Nigeria, it is very possible that they would be moving to Africa in the near future.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are expecting their first child together in a matter of days, could be leaving England and relocating to Africa.

The continent has always been a place with a soft spot for both of them with Prince Harry admitting that they had their third date in Botswana,  “We camped out with each other, under the stars.

“She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic. Then we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to get to know each other.” he said of the date.

According to Royal reporters Tim Shipman and Roya Nikkhah of the Sunday Times:  “Courtiers have drawn up plans to hand the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a major international job that could see them moving abroad after the birth of their child.”

The report also states that the move (if it ever happens) will not be till 2020 after the couple have had a chance to settle in with their child.

Prince Harry and Meghan are viewed as outliers in the Royal hierarchy with the two being the most unconventional couple for a while.

Richard Palmer of the Daily Express, a royal reporter, claimed: “Buckingham Palace is not denying a report that officials have discussed sending Harry and Meghan to Africa as a way of capitalising on their appeal to young people in the Commonwealth — and of putting further distance between them and the Cambridges.” And Palmer also released a statement from Buckingham Palace which said, “Any future plans for The Duke and Duchess are speculative at this stage. No decisions have been taken about future roles.” Buckingham Palace continued, “The Duke will continue to fulfil his role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.”

The move might be necessitated by reported rifts between the Harry and Meghan and Prince William and Catherine, while the rift has been denied, the evidence shows that something is going on. We wait to see if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for some reason decide Nigeria is their desired spot.
