Kanye West’s “Jesus Is King” Release Date Reportedly Hazy

Kanye West Jesus Is King

The launch of Kanye West’s upcoming album, Jesus Is King, continues to be clouded with uncertainty and according to reports making headlines, the project no longer has a release date.

Although the reports claim that the album is complete, however, it’s release has been delayed because Kanye keeps tweaking it every time he listens to it.

Jesus Is King already missed its initial date of Friday, Sept. 27, which was first shared by Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian. Following a listening session in Detroit that evening, she issued an update stating the album would instead be dropping on Sunday, September 29.

The project failed to materialize following Kanye’s Sunday Service at The Greater Allen Cathedral in Queens, New York, and the purported final “Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience” listening party at the historic United Palace Theatre in Washington Heights.

According to multiple reports, the album runs 10 tracks long and includes a song titled “Use This Gospel” featuring Kenny G and a reunited Clipse. The Ty Dolla $ign collaboration “New Body” has also been reworked several times, and may feature a new Nicki Minaj verse.

Kanye is also set to release both a documentary and IMAX film to accompany Jesus Is King. The latter project is scheduled to hit theatres on October 25.

Until an unchanged official date is confirmed by Kanye or his wife, Kim – we will keep our eyes peeled for more information about Kanye’s upcoming 9th studio album, Jesus Is King.
