Justine Skye has been experiencing a transformative year on so many levels. Although what could have been a tumultuous year filled with chaos turned out to be a push for major personal and professional growth as she ditched the symbols from her earlier era of fame and drowned out the noise by focusing on cultivating her craft.
After seven years in the business, Skye is ready to take back control and embrace the unknown as an independent artist. Today, Skye returns to the spotlight fully exposed with the Bare With Me EP, a manifesto that speaks volumes about the woes of burning passion and love.

According to the 24-year-old Jamaican singer, she described the six-track EP as a “transferring into my independence as an artist,” and going back to the basics of true authenticity.
In her words;
I feel like 2019 is the setup year.
After this project, a lot of questions that people had about me will be answered.
People will be able to really see the direction that I’m trying to go in.
Honestly, I’m just trying to be my most authentic self as I can as an artist wherever that takes me.
Obviously, I want people to enjoy it as much as I do, but I feel like I’ve drowned myself in expectations to the point that it drove me crazy.
I realized I’m a lot happier now that I’m just following my instincts and being surprised. I’m surprised in my own self.
