Johnny Drille Meets Jon Bellion

This was bound to happen sooner rather than later as Johnny Drille has been honest about meeting his musical inspiration. And just like a dream, he woke up to the reality of it. Nothing is truly impossible when you believe in yourself and work towards it.

John Ighodaro popularly known as Johnny Drille, is a Nigerian Musical artiste, Song Writer and a Performer who does Folk Music. He was on a low doing his music, unknown to him that Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy was following his music and eventually, the award winning producer and Label owner, loved Johnny Drille kind of music. On February 28, 2017, he was added to the Mavin Records family. Following the official statement released from the label that Johnny Drille has officially signed a contract with the label. Which has given birth to various other songs. His sounds, still remains outstanding.

Sometime last year, the Edo State born artiste did a cover to American artiste, Jon Bellion song, All Time Low and went on to twitter to tag Jon Bellion, saying that, “we are looking forward to a Jon Bellion concert in Nigeria,” surprisingly, he got a response from the award winning American artiste Jon Bellion, saying, “if only you will open for me.” Johnny couldn’t believe what he read as he didn’t stop buzzing about it, at the time and had since been on the look at on how to get in contact. Hopefully, they kept in touch and the meet finally happened. This is a priority that has been ticked off his list of people he wanted to meet.

Johnny Drille who has been a long time supporter of Jon Bellion and his music, said that Jon has been a huge source of inspiration to his musical career.

And just recently, he took to his Instagram page to reveal to us what he is been up to and further posted a picture of himself and Jon Bellion together and his followers hasn’t stopped applauding him for his newest achievement.

The 28-year-old singer, is a prove of following your dreams even when it doesn’t pay at the start time, but reward will come when you don’t give up . He was a contestant on one of the popular reality TV show, Project Fame but didn’t make it. Guess what? During the season 6 of the said reality TV show, Johnny Drille was invited as a celebrity guest to share his experience with the contestants where he advised them to use the show as a platform to showcase their ability.

He was also one of the artiste invited to perform at the grand finale of last season BBNaija season 3, “double wahala”.
