Star Wars star, John Boyega is set to star in a new Netflix sci-fi comedy called ‘They Cloned Tyrone’
The actor really saw his stock rise after her played the role of Finn in the Star Wars franchise and has since then acted in Pacific Rim and some other movies.
The Hollywood Reporter, who first broke the news, described it as an unlikely trio investigating some strange events.
The report read: “Likened to “Friday-meets-Get Out,” the film is described a pulpy, sci-fi mystery caper, in which an unlikely trio investigates a series of eerie events, alerting them to a nefarious conspiracy lurking directly beneath their hood.”
We’ll just have to wait to see what John Boyega serves us in the new series.
The actor did get into it with some Star Wars fans on Twitter after his agent, Femi Oguns, posted an image on Instagram which featured the cast of The Rise of Skywalker with a Monday Night Football logo. This sent fans into a frenzy as they thought they would get additional information about the movie. Boyega had to get on Twitter to explain things when fans didn’t get the info they were hoping for.
He tweeted: “Sw fans. I don’t know when the trailer is coming out and i haven’t made any announcements about it so let’s just wait for the studio to release it,”
He later added: “I definitely think it’s soon though! Release is around the corner so I’m sure the gears are in motion! That’s my honest take on it now relax!”
I don’t Star Wars fans want to relax.
