Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston was very candid about a plane ride that almost took her life and she explained what happened on the day.
Recall that back in February, we were hit with news that the Along Came Polly star was in a near plane crash when she and her friends including Courtney Cox had to make an emergency plane landing in California instead of Mexico which was their destination.
She and her friends were going to Mexico to celebrate her 50th birthday.
Jennifer Aniston finally talked about the incident on Jimmy Kimmel’s show (Jimmy’s wife was also on the plane) and she said that her fear of flying really kicked in during that flight.
“It was one of those things where on the takeoff, on the taxi, we heard an explosion. We take off and, two hours in, the flight attendant comes over to me and she says, ‘The pilots would like to talk to you.’ And I turned to my best friend, Dre, and I said, ‘Will you please go talk to the pilot? Because there’s no way this is going to go talk to the pilot.” she said
She also added: “Then 10 minutes later she comes out and she says, ‘We’ve turned around, we’re actually going back to California. They found some debris from a wheel on the runway. They think it’s from our plane.’ “
Jennifer Aniston was on Jimmy Kimmel to promote her new movie, Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler. The movie is due for release soon and tells the story of “A New York cop and his wife go on a European vacation to reinvigorate the spark in their marriage. A chance encounter leads to them being framed for the murder of an elderly billionaire.”
Meanwhile the Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt rumors refuse to go away with reports even suggesting that the actor is now turning down dates in a bid to not upset his ex-wife.
We’re just glad Jen is okay.
