Tamar Braxton is having the time of her life in Nigeria and a lot of that has to do with her Nigerian boyfriend David Adefeso who she is clearly head over heels in love with.
The singer has been taking in the sights and sounds of Lagos, visiting the Oba of Elegushi, going for an Owambe wedding and so on.
She took to her Instagram to gush about David, commenting on a photo of the two of them holding hands and how it really struck her because she has never had her hand held in such a way.
She captioned the post thus: “I don’t know why I can’t stop looking at this picture. The way he’s holding my hand makes me stare at it. It says so many things. There has been times in Nigeria where I had NO IDEA where I was, or what was going on, but not for one second did he leave my side. He had me in every way. THIS is what holding your woman down is. I remember when @otgenasis said it… and I’ve said this before… all that other stuff is cool “but who gone Fck with you FOR REAL”!!! I’ve had my hand held. This picture should be no big deal. But,I don’t think I’ve had it held like this. There is a difference. Its clear that this is where he WANTS to be. He’s only thinking of US. It’s not forced. This is a SOLID man. For so long, I didn’t think I deserved that. Because I didn’t know anything else. I settled for the not returned hold. Ladies, Make sure when you hold them they hold you back. This is what we deserve. 💕 God bless yall🙏🏼🇳🇬”
In an earlier post, Tamar Braxton also tried out Emu (palmwine) for the first time. It’s safe to say it didn’t go well.
She captioned that post: “This made me drunk. And it was nasty 🤢 😩😂😂😂Having my 2 best friends by my side was even more intoxicating. Nigeria was the BEST thing that has happened to me🎯”
Meanwhile, a Nigerian OAP, Tisan Bako of Raypower FM has commended the great job that David Adefeso is doing in posing Nigeria in a positive light. He claimed that he is even doing a much better job than the actual minister of Tourism, Culture and Information Lai Mohammed.
What do you think? Has David done enough to upgrade Nigeria’s reputation in the eyes of the world.
