The High Court Sitting At Abuja Has Dismissed The Alleged Rape Case Between Busola Dakolo And COZA Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo

Outrage poured in online and otherwise as the High Court sitting at Abuja Court passed verdict on Busola Dakolo’s case against Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth Of The Zion Assembly [COZA]. The case was thrown out and Busola Dakooo was asked to pay 1million naira fine for wasting the time of the court.

Earlier in the year, Busola Dakolo alleged that she was raped twice as a teenager by the pastor/founder of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly [COZA], iodun Fatoyinbo.  As soon as the news hit the internet, Biodun denied the allegations and the others that accused him of the same act.

The celebrity photographer, Busola decided to seek legal grounds to take the case farther when Biodun Fatoyinbo denied the allegations. In the suit filed by Busola through her lawyer, she requested for a personal letter of apology from Biodun Fatoyinbo.

In the quest for justice, Biodun Fatoyinbo who was represented by his team of lawyers led by Dr Alex Izinyon (SAN) argued that that the suit filed by Busola Dakolo was ‘Ungrantable’ by the court and ‘Frivolous’, making it an abuse of court process.

The case was presided over by Justice Oathman A. Musa. He said the case is more of cruelty rather than seeking justice and an abuse of judicial process. Therefore, making the case empty and purely sentimental. The court however ordered Busola to pay the sum of 1 million naira to Biodun Fatoyinbo in damage.

Popular entrepreneur, Wale Jana  who came under heavy fire from trolls for supporting the pastor when the case was earlier brought up, took to his Instagram page to rejoice with Biodun Fatoyinbo’s victory at the court and the Hollywood actor, Tonto Dikeh commented that the money is used to feed those at the IDP camp.
