He Called Me To Congratulate Me, But I Told Him This Gig Should Have Been His – Shatta Wale To StoneBwoy

The much awaited Lion King, The gift album by Beyonce is out and people aren’t done talking about it. While some are praising their favourites in the collaboration, others are busy tearing them down……..Even some artistes aren’t too pleased they are not on it!! But, this new revelation by Shatta Wale is quit shocking considering all the talk down he’s done to various artistes both in Ghana and Nigeria.

Shatta Wale who ceases every opportunity to attack his fellow industry mate and Ghanaian brother, Sarkodie has revealed what StoneBwoy did when he heard he was among those who collaborated with Queen Bee, Beyonce on Lion King, The Gift Album.

The award winning Ghanaian dance hall artiste recounted during an interview with Zylofon TV on what StoneBwoy said to him despite their rift in the past. He said; “he called me to congratulate me when the news broke out, but then I told him this gig should have been him and he quickly responded that, No, I deserve it, it is for us.”

Shatta Wale added that, if he didn’t get the deal, he is sure that either StoneBwoy or Samini would have gotten it. “Those two deserve any good thing that comes in the industry. Someone like Stone had really worked hard and done so much to put Ghana on the map, so yes it could have been any of them.” He said.

Still on same interview, he literally used every means possible to tear Sarkodie to pieces but made it clear that regardless of any issues between them both, Sarkodie called to congratulate him, he told him he didn’t need any congratulations from him!!.

Anyway, we are hoping that they will find a way back to peace as this is a stepping stone for Ghana and a huge deal for the industry, peace is the only way forward. As he’s done with StoneBwoy, hope he can with Sarkodie.
