Hamilton star, Miguel Cervantes has lost his three-year-old daughter to the cold hands of death just days before her fourth birthday.
According to the family, Adelaide Cervantes passed away on Saturday after battling Infantile Spasms (IS) and epilepsy since she was a baby.
Miguel, 42, reposted a picture shared by his wife Kelly, 37, showing a black and white picture of their three-year-old daughter’s bedroom.
The actor, who currently stars as Alexander Hamilton in the Chicago production of the hit musical, wrote;
The machines are off. Her bed is empty. The quiet is deafening.
Miss Adelaide Grace left us early Saturday morning.
She went peacefully in my arms and surrounded by love.
Finally, she is free from pain, reactions and seizures but leaves our hearts shattered.
We love you so much Adelaideybug and forever after 💔💜

The family in a statement said;
The Cervantes family is heartbroken to announce that their baby girl Adelaide Grace passed away early Saturday morning.
She was held in the loving arms of her family as she peacefully achieves the “calm” for which they’ve been searching for so long.
They would like to extend their deepest, heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out with words of support and prayer and will continue to feel all the love as they go through this difficult time.
Adelaide, after missing a number of milestones as a baby, suffered her first seizure at just seven months old, and two months later, was diagnosed with IS – where the child has lots of seizures in a short period of time, resulting in abnormal brain activity and possible brain damage.
Miguel and Kelly, who also have a seven-year-old son, Jackson, transferred Adelaide to hospice care in August after discovering her condition was neuro-degenerative and that her brain had shrunk in size.
The Cervantes family was able to keep Adelaide at home in her final weeks.
RIP Adelaide…You will be dearly missed. 💔😭
