Gigi Hadid, Halsey & More Celebs Support Taylor Swift Amid Battle for Her Music

Celebrities are speaking out in support of Taylor Swift after the 29-year-old singer penned an open letter claiming that that Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta are not allowing her to perform her old songs at the 2019 American Music Awards unless she agrees to their conditions.

If you don’t know, they own the master recordings for her first six albums Braun’s Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Label Group from founder Borchetta in late June.

Back in July, Taylor spoke against losing the rights to her early music catalog and branded the deal as “gross”.

Now, according to a recent tweet she revealed Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta are not letting her perform her own music live. She also said they’ve banned her from using her music in a forthcoming Netflix documentary about her life, which has been in production for several years.

Following her revelation in the open letter, a number of celebrities and fans have slammed Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta.

Her friends, Gigi Hadid and Hasley led the pack expressing their displeasure at the bosses.
