Game of Thrones Star, Kit Harington Set To Join Marvel Cinematic Universe

Kit Harington

From the biggest TV show of all time to the biggest film franchise of all time, it appears that Game of Thrones star – Kit Harington – is set to swap dragons and snow zombies for superheroes as he prepares to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to a new report making the rounds, it claims that the Jon Snow actor’s next film will be an MCU project, although the film in which he’ll feature has not yet been revealed, nor has the character he’ll be playing.

Beyond that, it seems we are all Jon Snow at the moment and we know nothing.

However, it’s certainly possible that further details will emerge in the coming weeks as Disney is set to hold its D23 Expo.

With Marvel’s Phase 4 on the horizon, the likes of The Eternals and Black Widow could be strong possibilities – or perhaps he’ll have a role to play in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness or Thor: Love and Thunder.

Not to forget Black Panther 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel 2, Mutants (aka X-Men) and Blade will all be released during Phase 4, too. So at this point, anything could happen.

Nonetheless, we will have to wait to see if more details about Kit Harington’s new role will be dropped in the coming weeks but in the meantime, that won’t stop us from picturing him as Silver Surfer.
