AFFIF is a platform for all filmmakers to showcase their work in other for it to reach a larger and a much wider audience as well as to empower them in making movies to effect social change across Africa.
In partnership with High Definition Film Studio, Film For Impact Foundation is calling on all filmmakers to submit their entries for AFFIF (Africa Film For Impact Festival) maiden edition.
The festival which in some way synonymous with TIFF will be holding a 3days workshop that will border on masterclasses, panel discussions, workshops, creating content for social change and so much more and they will be given the opportunity to pitch their ideas to donors and only films addressing a specific issue on society, will be screened. The time to be given will be 3-30 minutes for short films while 60-90 minutes for feature films.
An award ceremony will also be held by AFFIF and special recognitions to those in Film-making in the categories of Cinematography, Creativity (Director) and social impact awards will be given at the festival.
Entries start on October 1st 2019 through their official website and the date for the festival is on the 30th of May, 2020 at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
