Donald Trump: Jussie Smollett Perpetrated a Hate Crime Against Me and All of ‘MAGA Country’

Donald Trump and Jussie Smollett

President Donald Trump is certainly not a fan of Jussie Smollett. This was evident after the President came after the Empire actor in a series of tweets.

The actor who had all charges dropped against him in his recent false report case, has come under extreme fire from the policemen and women of Chicago who believe that there was foul play in his investigation.

The Internet has also not been on the actor’s side as many on social media believe that the actor lied and used his position to get out of a sticky situation.

And President Donald Trump, an avid Twitter user, also came for the actor over Memorial day, claiming that the real hate crime perpetrated was against the MAGA (Make America Great Again) country and that he is disappointed that there has been no apology from the star.

“In addition to great incompetence and corruption, The Smollett case in Chicago is also about a Hate Crime,” Trump tweeted. “Remember, ‘MAGA COUNTRY DID IT!’ That turned out to be a total lie, had nothing to do with ‘MAGA COUNTRY.’ Serious stuff, and not even an apology to millions of people!”

Jussie Smollett claimed that he had been assaulted by some men who allegedly threw homophobic slurs at him and even hung a rope around his neck. He had also claimed that the men sported MAGA hats and this had at the time made many Americans criticize Donald Trump and his supporters, until it was revealed that all of this could have been a lie and that the actor might have lied about the identity of those who beat him up and was even the mastermind behind it all.

Smollett has so far maintained his innocence and has been backed by his Empire co-stars.

Donald Trump is currently in Japan and it has been suggested online that he perhaps sticks to his day job of being…you know…President of the United States.
