If you are one who never believes that PR has a big effect on your mind, I am so sorry to be the one that has to break it to you, brethren, you are wrong. A major effect PR has on its audience is that whatever the scenario – be it drama or music, it sticks to your thought process for a while, making it top of your mind for every time your mind tunes towards that direction.
Well, for Demmie Vee and Kizz Daniel’s brouhaha, this is beginning to look more like a PR stunt given that Demmie Vee, the Fly Boy Inc artiste recently released a new single hours after apologizing to his boss and fellow record label mate, Kizz Daniel.
Remember that Demmie Vee recently called out the Madu crooner and accused him of being a traitor as well as cunningly collecting the sum of N15m from him. His outburst was fueled by his claims that Kizz Daniel backtracked on their business deal and did not properly promote him despite the several millions of naira he paid.
However, in a recent development, the aggrieved singer has penned an open apology to his boss and retracted some of the horrible things he said about him. Clearing the air on the arrangement between him and the label, Demmie Vee stated that what he had going on with the label was just a management deal, which means he was never signed as an artiste.
In his words, he said;
Alot of people complained about me joining Flyboi inc.Let me make this more clear to you all, I never sign a record label deal with Kizz Daniel but a management deal. A management deal where I can always have someone am looking up to.
We needed proper management after tiff has blown. And a good team to work with..Kizz Daniel was someone I have always looked up to as my GF in the industry which made myself and my CEO decided to approach FBI for this management deal. Also for us to be able to grow FLYBOI together.
Kizz has always been a good person to me with good heart. Am using this opportunity to let everyone understand that Am truly sorry for everything this whole drama might have caused the whole Flyboi Management/Team. I will forever appreciate what you guys have done for me. From the bottom of my heart. Am saying am sorry. Let’s love lead. And to all upcoming act out there. Always remember patience is a virtue.
Following the settlement of the rift, the singer took to his Instagram page to announce that he was set to release a brand new single titled “Surulere” – an act Kizz Daniel also emulated. The track was produced by Izzy Black, mixed and mastered by STG.
