D’banj Receives Silver Plaque From YouTube After Hitting 100,000 Subscribers

Nigerian music star and entrepreneur, Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’Banj was one of the panelist at the ongoing “YouTube Week” where the singer received a special ‘Silver Creator Award’ for hitting 100,000 subscribers.

Held at the Landmark Event Center, Lagos – the music superstar and entrepreneur was recognized by the streaming platform for his influential online presence and his ability to successfully amass 100,000 subscribers.

The iconic music star while performing his duties as a panelist at the ongoing “YouTube Week”, shared experiences, tips and tricks behind his success in various sectors of the Nigerian economy through his multiple award-winning music career.

Over the course of his 14-year career, he boasts of his “CREAM” platform which has generated over 15 million dollars and garnered over 3.5 million subscribers since its inception in 2016.

The boot-camp is covering topics like channel & content strategy, working with brands, creator responsibility, production and accelerating growth on YouTube.

Fans will also have a chance to meet, greet and engage with their favourite creators at the event.

The week-long boot-camp organized by YouTube for YouTube Creators started on Monday, 17th of June and will wrap up on Friday, 21st of June, 2019 with one of the most anticipated parties of the year.
