Living in Bondage: Breaking Free is a hit guys!

The Nollywood movie is only a week old and it has recorded a quite a sizeable amount of success with this short time.

The movie has made a huge difference in the Nigeria Film Industry from brilliant scripting to the amazing casts, editing, cinematography and choice of location.

It is currently the number one movie in West Africa it also made  up to 50 Million Naira and counting in its first week.

The production team is in partnership with Universal Music for the soundtrack carefully selected by the legendary producer, Larry Gaaga.

The Executive Producer, Charles Okpaleke expressed his gratitude to all viewers who gave good reviews and urge those who are yet to see the movie, to do so with either a friend or a family member.

“It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes!!! Thank you all. Please keep spreading the word without you going to the cinema, we wouldn’t push these numbers. I urge you all to go out, take a friend, your family and join us in keeping alive our history, culture and heritage. Nollywood has come to stay!”

Living In Bondage: Breaking Free (the sequel) is an adaptation of the 1992 blockbuster with an infusion of new ideas without the use of flashbacks but with a clear understanding of part one from the sequel. Although it is over 20years old, the sequel brought about lots of expectations and viewers are pleased with the storyline.

The first part was written by Kenneth Nnebue and Okechukwu Ogunji Ofor. The writers of the sequel continued with the storyline from the first part but added new ideas at intervals. It was written by Nicole Asinugo and C.J Obasi.

“The movie tells the story that is relatable the modern-day generation who seek the fastest way to get rich and his willing to do whatever it takes to get it done. He was introduced to the billionaire leader of a powerful occultic group called ‘The Six’. What he thought was easy made him live in Bondage.”

The movie is a Play Network Creation in conjunction with Native Film Works and the casts are a mix of its original actors from the first part and a few new faces. Ramsey Noauh, Kenneth Okonkwo, Helen Paul, Nancy Isime, Bob Manuel and more…

Living in Bondage(the sequel) is the Number one movie in West Africa, it is also recorded as the highest opening weekend for a Nollywood movie in 2019 as well as making history with a huge hit of 50 million naira in its first week.
