Cee-C from Big Brother Nigeria makes her big screen debut in a new movie called ‘Another Father’s Day’

The reality star gained notoriety after her showing in the last edition of the show where she was an engaging character throughout and while she lost out to eventual winner, Miracle, she is one of the BBN stars doing pretty well after leaving the house.

The movie, which stars Nollywood veterans including Wale Ojo (Phone Swap) and Mercy Aigbe (Little Drops of Happy) is ‘a family friendly comedy which promotes family bonding, values and morals. Femi Daniel (played by Wale Ojo) is a career driven man who is totally clueless when it comes to family matters. When left alone with the kids, its one trouble after another trouble’

 

Nollywood has been making a slew of family friendly comedies/Romantic Comedies of increasing quality which have in turn made bank at the box office with The Wedding Party still the most successful making N400 million when it came out in 2017.

The industry itself has done quite well for itself, making N3.5 billion naira (around $11.5 million) in 2016 and also making it the first time that the country’s entertainment industry has passed the 1 billion mark.

Another Father’s day is directed by Bukola Ogunsola, the movie stars Mercy Aigbe, Wale Ojo, Simi Adejumo, Frank Donga, Cynthia “Cee-C” Nwadiora, Samuel “Broda Shaggi” Perry, Juliana Olayode, Mercy Chinwo, Salako “SLK” Oluwaponmile, Samuel Robinson, Tubosun Aiyedehin and others.

It is set to hit cinemas in June of this year and due to the subject matter of balancing work with family life should hit the collective consciousness of Nigerian parents many of whom have come under fire for allegedly not spending a lot of time with their kids.

The movie is suitable for the entire family and promises drama,comedy and more. We cant wait!!!!
