Barely two weeks after addressing her liposuction during a performance in Tennesse, Cardi B is pulling out of her upcoming performance due to complications from her plastic surgery procedures.
Cardi B was set to headline the 92Q Spring Bling Festival this Friday night in Baltimore, but now it’s been postponed because she needs to recover from her recent liposuction and breast augmentation.
According to TMZ, Cardi’s complications have “gotten so bad, she simply can’t perform.” In fact, Cardi’s doctors have told her to take some time off so the swelling can go down, and for her body to fully recover.
Cardi’s publicist also commented on her cancellation saying;
Cardi was overzealous in getting back to work. She didn’t take the time necessary to fully recover. Her strenuous schedule has taken a toll on her body and now has been given strict doctors orders to pull out the rest of her performances in May.
Since giving birth to her daughter, Kulture in July 2018, the 26-year-old singer has been open about her decision to go under the knife. She even hinted at liposuction a month after her daughter was born. In her words, she said;
I still feel like I got a lot of love handles right here. It’s not much but it’s like — I’m used to having, like, a real tight stomach … I might just get a little lipo, you know what I’m saying?
We really hope Cardi B will be rested and fully recovered by the time the new date is announced.
