You could say Burna Boy is generally a chill character, but then, when Elton John shouts you out, all rules kinda go out the window.
This was the case for the African Giant after he found himself featured on Elton John’s Apple Music Beats1 radio show, Rocket Hour.
In a video that was posted on Burna Boy’s fan page, the singer could be seen staring at his phone disbelievingly as he replayed the opening lines of Elton John’s monologue at the beginning of the show where he announced that he would be playing Burna’s music during the show.
The singer kept repeating that part as if somehow expecting to hear something else. He kept going ‘See am?’ and even went over to Elton John’s bio page to read what was there again to ascertain it was the same Elton John he as thinking of.
Elton John is multi-award winning singer whose career has spanned more than 5 decades in which time he has revolutionized music in a positive way.
He also has a movie about him called Rocketman which follows his life as he went from absolute obscurity to superstardom.
Burna Boy too has been burning it up with the release of his new album opening him up to new audiences and getting critical acclaim for its themes, creativity and brilliance.
