Broadway Child Actor, Laurel Griggs Is Dead From Complicated Asthma Attack

The 13-year-old young star, Laurel Griggs died on the 5th of November, 2019 due to complications from asthma.

The young star was just beginning to shine before the sudden asthma attack that claimed her life.

Laurel Griggs made her acting debut at the tender age of 6 in a movie “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof” with the Hollywood award-winning actor, Scarlett Johanson. She also appeared in another movie “Cafe Society” a romantic comedy. She featured in lots of commercials and Television shows.

Her fellow co-child star actor Eliza Holland Madore put a post up on her Instagram page to bid her friend goodbye.

Laurel’s grandfather David Rivlin revealed in an interview with the New York Times that “She took her medication every day and had some kind of machine for breathing if she needed it.”

According to the Police report, on that fateful day, Laurel had another asthma attack that later turned into cardiac arrest at 7:25 PM and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The news of her death was made known by her grandfather through a Facebook post.

Her funeral was held on Friday, November 8, 2019.
