Those worried about Britney Spears may have cause to be even more worried after it was reported that the pop star may never perform again.
This was according to her longtime manager, Larry Rudolph, who said that she would not be allowed to work again until her health improves
Britney Spears has had a rather difficult time of it lately after she canceled a residency in Las Vegas in January only to check into a mental facility.
All this was also while she is enmeshed in a bitter battle over her financial conservatorship
Speaking to TMZ, Rudolph said “I don’t want her to work again ’till she’s ready, physically, mentally and passionately. If that time never comes again, it will never come again. I have no desire or ability to make her work again. I am only here for her when she wants to work. And, if she ever does want to work again, I’m here to tell her if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.”
Britney Spears was in court on Friday alongside her mother where she testified that her father had her committed to a mental institution without consent. There were fans gathered in front of the court house in support of the pop star and the hashtag #freebritney has been gathering momentum for a while.
Rudolph claims that Britney’s meds have stopped working and this has led him to cancel her “Britney: Domination” show in January.
There are no plans to put it back on with the manager saying: “From what I have gathered it’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again.”
We hope that Britney Spears recovers soon and we hope to see her perform again.
Good luck Britney!
