In the last couple of months, the lifestyle of Nigerian male barbie, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky – has come under heavy scrutiny. First, it was the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) – Olusegun Runsewe who called on the Federal Government to check his activities, then the Nigeria Police Force abruptly closed the venue of his birthday party before Nigerian youths under the umbrella of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (Abuja Chapter) staged a protest at the National Assembly.
Now, it appears that these hunts for Bobrisky’s head are not over because the NCAC boss, Olusegun Runsewe as once again requested that Bobrisky’s head be delivered to him on a platter of gold.
Speaking at a recent interview, Runsewe stated that Bobrisky poses ”serious hazards” to Nigerian youths and if his activities were not promptly curtailed, the resultant effect would be worse than Ebola outbreak.
According to him, Bobrisky’s activities negate the culture and tradition of the nation and he could be excused to go to other climes where such culture of being a cross-gender would be tolerated.
In his words;
Bobrisky is a national disaster, an embarrassment to the country, engaging in cultural corruption as a cross-dresser and we have to start to curtail his activities before it gets out of hand.
We will not allow Bobrisky to destroy the future of our youths and the unborn Nigerians.
