It was quit an interesting day for the BBN housemates yesterday as they started the day with a conversation of relationship and all the housemates came together to share their various opinion on the topic. It was really nice to see the housemates having a bonding time and not quarreling.
According to Big Brother, he enjoyed their conversation and would like for them to converse by singing each word to be said to the other rather than just talking. The housemates were do excited about this, seeing it as an opportunity to finally make noise in a super loud manner.
Then, the fun part came from Pepsi Nigeria for the housemates to engage in a lyrical challenge and the winner gets a whole sum of N1.5 million and a 4-day all expense paid VVIP trip to One Africa Music Fest in Dubai?
This is the kind of challenge I could have won but I am nowhere near the house…
Yesterday was the first day of the task and was tagged a day fir rehearsal, big brother gave the housemates the opportunity to memorize the lyrics of each songs that was in jars provided by Pepsi to use as a guide…..This might be challenging for Mike, Khafi and Ike who aren’t so go with Nigerian music. But Mike didn’t look like he wanted to be sidelined.
The Pepsi Know Da Lyrics Challenge is a 2-day challenge and the housemates are expected to be fully kitted in their various branded Pepsi wears till the task is over which they started wearing from yesterday.
Big Brother did help them out by occasionally playing parts of the choosen five songs the housemates are to learn the lyrics and sing along to as a form of rehearsal. Which was quite amusing by the way haven to watch them tear the songs apart. The songs includes; All over- Tiwa Savage, Nwa Baby – Davido, Case – Teni and Green Light – DJ Cuppy X Tekno…. In a group of 17 housemates, some of them saw it as a fun time to make jokes and play around with it, while others took it seriously.
The full instrumental version of each song will be played today and each housemate is expected to know the song very well and ought to take it seriously, considering what is up for grabs, courtesy of Pepsi Nigeria.
Will your favorite get it right?.Let’s see!
