The singer cum actress recently took to her Twitter page to reveal her stand point on transgenders while responding to a Twitter user who questioned why transgenders are equating their fight for equality and inclusion with those fighting against racism.

Responding to the Twitter user who is a Radio broadcaster and OAP @OnomeOyaide, Toni Tones asked if transgenders were not human beings deserving of the same privileges that humans enjoy on a daily basis. She further stated that because transgenders have chosen to be identified as whatever gender does not make them less human or deprieved of equal human rights.

In her words,

Are they not human beings? They are human beings!

So they shouldn’t have to fight for the same privileges that you and I enjoy.
