Popular Gospel artiste, Kirk Franklin and his wife, Tammy Franklin are looking forward to becoming Grandparents soon.
The couple is both expecting their first grandchild from their daughter CARRINGTON and her husband, MAXX NAWKAASAH after three years of being married.
They took to their individual social media pages with their official handles to make the announcement. Their daughter Carrington put up a post of a board that had in it the baby’s ultrasound photo, the name he will be called and the date the baby will be born. It reads, April 2020.
The excited grandfather to be, Kirk Franklin shared the same photo on his IG page with a catchy a caption.
“I. Am. About. To. Be. A… GRANDFATHER!!!!! I don’t even know they were having relations #Proudpawpaw”
Tammy Franklin who is also waiting to become a grandmother also shared the joy on her IG page.
” Y’all I can barely contain my excitement. This Lil boy is already so loved. 1Samuel 1:27 for this child I’ve prayed.#Mybabyishavingababy #Carrmaxx #babycarrmaxx.”
The expectant mother, Carrington is the daughter of Tammy Franklin from her previous relationship before she got married to Kirk Franklin who adopted her when he married Tammy.
The 49-year-old award-winning gospel artiste, Kirk Franklin also has a son from his past relationship named Kerrison and together, the couple has two children, Kennedy and Caziah.
Kirk Franklin got married to Tammy on January 20, 1996.
