Former video vixen Venita Akpofure has come out to state that while her marriage to Terna Tarka is indeed over, it wasn’t due to domestic abuse.

There had been reports on Stella Dimoko Korkus that the marriage had crashed becaue Tarka was beating her up and she had enough and left the marriage.

Venita Akpofure then took to her social media to clarify, stating that Tarka was a good father to their children and was not a violent person.

Her statement read thus: “Much love to you all, No one is perfect and these things can happen to anyone. However, I want to make one thing clear which is I am not a victim of domestic violence. My ex is also not a violent person and is indeed a great father to our two wonderful and precious little girls. We have mutually split and are great friends and even better co-parents to our children in our family that we started. God bless you all,”

However, the reports from Stella Dimoko Korkus stated that an insider revealed that ”Aside from the frequent beatings she received, there was no money in the home and the kids could not even go to school, they were broke and stuck with each other at home fighting from Morning till night…She was not allowed to work and he could not meet up with the finances and things just went from bad to worse to serious beatings”

And that ”Family and friends have rallied round her and gave her their support when she became depressed and whilst some friends gave her accommodation, her parents in the UK asked her to send the kids over so that she could find her feet..She has presently moved into her own accommodation after squatting with friends and is now looking for Jobs to survive”

And in another post, the popular blog stood by this stance claiming that Venita’s rebuttal is false.

We do hope that Venita is okay and that if there has indeed been any domestic violence, she speaks up.
