I want to believe it is common knowledge that women deserve to be celebrated every day; not only on International Women’s Day or on Mother’s Day or on any other day the world chooses to celebrate women, but the point is women deserve to be celebrated every day of the week.
In an effort to celebrate women – CLAN, a premium ready-to-wear brand that offers a range of cosmopolitan pieces from work-wear, to everyday basics, to occasional pieces launched a campaign called SHE – a campaign aimed at ushering in its new work-wear collection and celebrate women in various industries.
The “Power Woman” campaign was launched during Women’s month and placed women at the forefront of the conversation about leadership and also showcases the different ways success can be defined. The campaign featured women such as Reni Folawiyo, Dr. Myma Belo Osagie, Tokini Peterside, Rewa Udoji, Tayo Bolodeoku, Temi Awogboro, Bidemi Zakariyau, Alero Adollo, Fran Asemota, Detoun Ogwo, and Tosin Durotoye who were all styled in items from the new collection.
The women featured in the new campaign were chosen because of their unique and compelling stories of success. SHE, The Power Woman campaign focuses on work-wear and targets women in business and the corporate world. The collection is filled with power suits, wrap dresses and colourful co-ords that all stay true to CLAN’s minimalistic aesthetic and well-crafted designs.
Since inception, CLAN has been able to position itself as the leading fashion label in premium ready-to-wear industry, thus earning the brand the number one spot in Africa.
